About Us

Who are we

The Civil Center for Advocacy and Support is a non-profit, non-governmental civil society organization licensed by the Ministry of Social Affairs since March 13, 2013, and renewed annually. The center is based in Taiz Governorate with the ability to reach other governorates and work there. The center was established by a group of active youth working within the framework of civil society as an extension of their youth activities that began in June 2007, through voluntary community work under the name "Regional Third Eye Youth Initiative" which is part of a regional youth initiative in several regional countries: (Egypt, Jordan, Bahrain, Yemen). These founding youth realized the need for free platforms in their communities to convey their voices to decision-makers, whether in government or international organizations. Therefore, the team at the Civil Center for Advocacy and Support makes great efforts to ensure that the community's voice reaches those concerned.
